We had a great stay here. It was a self service type experience but it all was simple and worked great for us. The bed was comfortable. It was very close to the main shopping areas in Kyoto with just a short walk and there were many great shops and restaurants down the side streets in the neighborhood as well. There was a great local grocery store just across the street too. The staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The hotel was in a perfect location — just a short walk to trains, buses, restaurants, bars, and plenty of shopping. It made exploring the city so easy. This hotel was so comfortable!! I stayed here with my husband and teen daughters in July 2025. My kids were so excited to try sleeping on futons and tatami mats and this hotel did not disappoint. They were very comfortable. There was a coin wash nearby for laundry and the subway was a short walk away.
